Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technical Writer:
- The Engineering Center and Engineering Warehouse are seeking someone to develop and document comprehensive operational and safety procedures, with a strong emphasis on OSHA compliance
- Develop, write, and edit material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, and related technical and administrative publications
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of product descriptions
- Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content
- Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
Required Skills for Technical Writer:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise text
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation software
