IDR is seeking a HR Operations Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fountain Valley, CA. This role is within a highly regulated industry focused on employee benefits, including leave management and workers’ compensation. The position offers a chance to support an organization that prioritizes compliance and employee well-being.
Position Overview for the HR Operations Specialist:
- Administer and manage Leave of Absence, FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, and workers’ compensation programs in accordance with company policies and federal/state laws
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Leave of Absence, STD, LTD, and workers’ compensation issues
- Resolve employee issues related to leave and workers' compensation claims efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory updates and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth leave processes and documentation
Requirements for the HR Operations Specialist:
- 2-5 years of FMLA/Leave of Absence (LOA) experience required
- Strong organization skills and proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar software preferred
- Effective in oral and written communication
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
