IDR is seeking a Credit Collections Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in El Segundo, CA. This role is within a dynamic financial services environment, focusing on managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collections through effective communication and organizational skills.
Position Overview for the Credit Collections Coordinator :
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure collection efforts are maximized and accounts are firmly reconciled
- Proactively contact customers regarding outstanding and past due balances, maintaining accurate notes on all collection efforts
- Resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with billing teams and escalating issues as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Utilize ERP system knowledge, including SAP, to process invoices, generate reports, and handle collection activities efficiently
Requirements for the Credit Collections Coordinator :
- Minimum 3 years collection experience (Desired 10 years of experience)
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Customer service, negotiation skills, and attention to detail
- Effective communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of urgency and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
